The A-Glaze Sealant System is a silicon free, Fluoro-Polymer resin formulated to provide protection for painted surfaces from common causes of degradation - ultra violet light, fading, atmospheric pollution, oxidisation, acid rain, industrial fallout, tree sap and bird lime. It is for these very reasons that major airlines, boat manufacturers and car dealers have tested and approved its use.
A-Glaze is not a polish or a wax. The A-Glaze Surface Sealant system uses the most up to date technology available in a unique blend of polymers and UV absorbers, to provide the best possible protection for your caravan paintwork. The sealant is completely safe on all plastics, rubber, chrome, and stainless steel and won’t leave behind any scruffy white marks or dust.
A-Glaze has been used for a number of years by some of the world’s major airlines to protect their aircraft’s paintwork from the harsh environment at high altitudes. By using A-Glaze the paint life of a long haul airliner will be more than doubled, as well as being far easier to clean.
A-Glaze is also the only paint sealant product that carries the necessary Boeing and Airbus certification for use on aircraft.
A-Glaze is now being used extensively in the leisure marine industry and already carries approval from both Sunseeker and Fairline, two of the largest manufacturers in the World. |

It has proven to be extremely effective in preventing the damage caused to fibreglass gelcoats and painted surfaces by the sun and water.
A-Glaze has now been formulated for the Caravan and Motorhome industry, once treated the painted surfaces or GRP on your caravan or motorhome will remain glossy and fade and stain resistant for a whole year guaranteed, requiring only regular rinsing to maintain the shine.
Applying the A Glaze Treatment
Firstly the caravan has to be washed. Please try to get it as clean as you can. When cleaning the caravan before applying the glaze, our wash n shine shampoo does not have to be used. This contains shine enhancer and has been developed for washing after the caravan has received the A Glaze treatment. Any reputable shampoo can be used on the first wash.
Once the caravan has been washed the pink preparation needs to be used. This is rubbed over the caravan taking small areas at a time. Rub in the pink preparation and then go over with a clean cloth to remove any ‘cloudy’ marks. The preparation should be applied using the micro fibre cloths contained in the kit as micro fibre cloths retain the dirt in the cloth and do not smudge over the surface of the caravan. The whole caravan needs to have the pink preparation applied as this prepares the surface of the caravan ready for the glaze to be applied.
Once you are happy that the surface has been fully treated with the pink preparation, the A Glaze surface sealant needs to be wiped sparingly over the surface of the caravan. Two coats of A Glaze surface sealant are needed. You may think you will not have enough to complete the job but 2 litres of sealant will cover a Boeing 737!!! Just simply dab a small amount onto the cloth provided in the kit and wipe over the surface. Once the first coat has been applied, repeat with the second coat.
Once the two coats of sealant have been applied it is advised to go around the caravan with a damp cloth and just simply wipe over the surface. As you can see from the photo on the left, once the A Glaze surface sealant has been applied, water simply forms a bead and runs off as it no longer bonds with the caravan surface - making cleaning easier and less tedious.
